CBN is an isomer of boron nitride, its structure is similar to diamond, with hardness up to 8000-9000 HV, heat resistance up to 1400°C and good wear resistance. CBN tools are widely used in the processing of various ferrous metals and difficult-to-machine materials, such as: hardened steel, various cast iron, sprayed materials, certain new materials, etc.

● Can be used with alloy inserts for common toolholders
● Available in the current common type specifications, single-edge, multi-edge, standard-edge, mini-edge, welded through, composite structure and other insert forms.
